    1. I am sorry I did not respond sooner. We were preoccupied with a new baby in the family! Please see posted comment for creation of the sun.

  4. First, I used poster board to create the base shape for the sun. I cut a circle out of a sheet of poster board then stapled triangular shaped poster board cut outs around the edge. The orange and yellow shapes are construction paper circles that I folded in half and hot glued to the poster board. I trimmed the circles after they were attached around the pointed edges of the sun. I used squares for the smile. The sunglasses were from poster board and construction paper. I laminated the sunglasses and hot glued them onto the sun.

  7. These are great! Where/how do you get/make those great letters (the ones used in number of your bulletin boards i.e. There's "snow" place like your imagination)? I've seen them on a few bulletin boards and love them.

    1. The letters are made using a die-cut machine at my school. I am guessing it is made by Ellison, but not totally sure. Construction paper is placed on the foam/wooden letter blocks and hand cranked through the machine to cut each symbol or letter.

  12. Love the Minnion board! Do you have patterns that you could post for making them?

    1. I am sorry, I don't have the pattern. As you can see, I cheated and made the same set of hands, feet, and jumpers for everyone. The glasses/eyes are party supplies from a party store. I created a basic minion shape and sketched out the first jumper to create all of them. I am a big fan of a google searches on free coloring pages for patterns. I may have used the following keywords, "free coloring pages minion" during a google search and found something to help me make patterns.
