You have some beaut ideas here. I seem to have lost my mojo for bulletin boards.I'd better chase it up. Thanks for getting me to think about it again.
Thank you. I am constantly checking the internet for ideas when it is time to put up a new bulletin board. Thank goodness for the internet and Pinterest!
Great bulletin board ideas! It helps me out a lot!!!
Can you tell me where you buy your bulletin board supplies, i.e. minions?
I purchased glasses for the minions and drew freehand patterns for the rest of the body. I found the glasses at a party store or at Walmart many months ago. They came 8 to a package. (Please note: I modified the glasses to make one-eyed glasses. :) To create the minion, I drew the "ovalish" shape then drew legs and feet separately. I created a pattern when I cut out and taped the oval body to the legs/feet. After I used the pattern to cut out the yellow paper from head to toe, I cut out black shoes to glue over the yellow feet. Next, I cut out black mittens and I didn't bother with arms. I drew out a pattern for the the blue outfits from one piece of paper. I used black marker to draw buttons and lines on the overalls. As you may have noticed, I didn't bother with the mouths. Many times when I am unable to draw something freehand, I resort to a google search for coloring pages and use those as patterns. I didn't use it for a pattern here, but I got some good ideas when I typed "coloring pages minions" in my google search. I used construction paper and bulletin board paper for all parts of the minions, except for the purchased party favor cardboard glasses.
